Stationary gas analyzers are designed to monitor the content in the air of the working area of hydrocarbon vapors of oil and petroleum products (except methane, ethane and propane), alcohols (except methanol), aldehydes (except formaldehyde), ammonia, carbon disulfide and other components, signaling and the formation of relay signals to control external devices when the concentration thresholds are exceeded. Gas analyzers consist of two units: a measuring unit and a relay unit. The gas analyzers are installed outside the explosive zone and connected to the sampling site by a pipeline. Gas analyzers can work independently or in conjunction with forced sample delivery devices, which include a fire barrier that excludes the transmission of an explosion from the installation site of the device through the pipeline to the sampling site.
